Princess and Curdie (For Boys)

Here is the Princess and Curdie cover from A.L. Burt. For some reason they marketed the Princess and the Goblin for girls and this sequel for boys (as seen by the boys with a variety of caps on the cover. All the advertisements in the back pages are for boy's titles.
The book has eleven full-page illustrations by James Allen. Don't know anything about him, but the drawings are mediocre in my opinion.
No date of publication, but no later than 1910, I'd guess. And possibly earlier than 1900.
