First Edition of MacDonald’s first book

Longman, Brown, Green, and Longmans, London, 1855, 183pp, 24pp of adverts (dated March, 1855). Original brown cloth, blind-stamped rules to boards, gilt titles on the spine.  A good, solid copy of this scarce edition.  The front hinge is nicely repaired.  GOOD +. $750
