My little book on the scientific imagination is now available in case you’re interested.

Unfortunately the price is steep because of the abundant color illustrations. There’s a $15 discount on the paperback using the “Buy now” link on that blog post. The hardcover should have a discount link added there sometime next week.
Much of it is like a visit to the History of Science Collections. One cannot capture the magic of the books themselves but I’ve done my best.
At the “Buy now” link one may freely read (without buying!) the front matter and first chapter. The first chapter will give you a good sense of whether the book would be of interest to you. The blog post includes a Table of Contents and a number of reviews. I’ve included a few of those review comments possibly relevant to educators below. (One of those is by Joyce McPherson. Her intro to Kepler is coming out in just a few weeks! It is just what I would want to put into the hands of any astronomy educator! So be on the lookout for that.)
